About us

Jesus Women International Prayer Movement UK

We are groups of Christian women also comprising women pastors, ministers, intercessors, counsellors, scattered all around the UK, Africa, Europe and the Americas.
We are bound together with a heart to intercede and disciple women into prayer while praying for one another. Jesus Women International Prayer Movement is a UK-based Charitable Company. It was founded on July 7, 2011, in Nottingham by Moji Obasa. Jesus Christ had given the founder the vision of gathering women to pray without ceasing in awaiting His second coming, but for fear and various reasons, the founder sat on it for 15 years.

About the Founder

Moji Ruth Obasa holds a degree in Business Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in Politics and International Relations, an HND in Media, a Certificate in Theology and Pastoral Studies, and a PGCE Cert Ed in Further Education.
She had been a Journalist for over 10yrs in Nigeria, prior to moving to the UK, a human rights activists who covered the Common Wealth heads of states meeting in Edinburgh Scotland in 1997 for the News Magazine based in Nigeria, as a former journalist she was part of the former NADECO and had worked as a journalist with the former vice president of Nigeria late Gen Musa Yar’dua.

Prayer and Deliverance Centre

We are now setting up a prayer and deliverance center in Abuja, Nigeria and South Africa, more details to follow

YouTube Channel & Book Launch

We will be launching our YouTube ministry on dreams and deliverance. We will also launch our new book, Jesus of Oxford, in March 2025,

Prison Ministry Outreach

We will reopen our prison ministry outreach.

Throne Room Ministry Partnership

We have partnered with the Throne Room Ministry in Kafanchan, Northern part of Nigeria. They have progarmmes for young girls, widows and those who are victims of abuse.

We welcome our new trustee Lady Sarah Lekwat and Dr Ike Okonta.

Our Statement of Faith

One True God

There is one true God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ is LORD

Jesus Christ is LORD, the living Word, who became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. Hence, He is perfect Deity and true humanity united in one person forever.

God is Free of sin

He lived a sinless life and voluntarily atoned for human sins by dying on the cross as a substitute, thus satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation for all who trust in Him alone.

He Ressurrated

He rose from the dead in the same body, though glorified, in which He lived and died.
